We are thrilled to announce that the Des Moines Weavers and Spinners Guild has been awarded an grant from Bravo Greater Des Moines! As the first organization of our kind to receive this incredible support, we are proud to continue sharing our passion for spinning and weaving with the community. Through classes, demonstrations, talks, and lectures, we aim to promote the art of weaving and spinning and foster a love for this craft. The Woolery
We are happy to announce that the Des Moines Weavers and Spinners Guild has been awarded a grant from The Woolery! This support allows us to continue sharing our passion for spinning and weaving with the community. Through classes, demonstrations, and knowledge sharing, we aim to promote the art of weaving and spinning while sharing our love for this craft. Each year, The Woolery selects up to three winners to receive grants, and we are honored to be among them. Thank you to The Woolery!
Iowa Federation of Handweavers and Spinners
We are grateful for the support of the Iowa Federation of Handweavers and Spinners! Their partnership helps us further our shared mission of promoting educational opportunities in the fiber arts and fostering connections among weavers and spinners, and guilds. The Federation also embraces a wide range of fiber traditions including felting, knitting, crochet, nalbinding, and tatting, helping to keep these arts vibrant and connected.
